It's time to remove the shorts and tank tops from the closet and time to move in the sweaters and jackets. This goes for vehicles as well! I just removed a bunch of collected clothes from the trunk of my car and know it will soon be replaced with different clothes...so what do you keep in your car to keep you going on those cold winter days? I usually have a collection of coats of various weights, an extra sweatshirt or two, gloves, hats, rain gear, rubber boots and hiking style boots for those sudden Colorado snow storms. Of course the window ice scraper is a must. :-) Jill - www.uspetpros.comMy Favorite Tees - www.cafepress.com/myfavoritetees

I add 2 sets of ear muffs, pajama pants (I wear under my jeans), shoes (my shoes get wet), socks (thermal if I have clean extras!), ski goggles, scarf or neck warmer, doggy coats and doggy boots.
I also try to keep a soda bottle of gravel, a kid's snow shovel, and a bag of salt in case I get stuck (have used all 3). And a bottle of low temp window washer fluid, fix a flat, and a portable battery charger from walmart (I've used it - love it!).
I also spoil myself with 2 cell phones - one cheap only partially working one I leave in my car. I tend to lose mine at inopportune times, so the spare comes in really handy.

Oh, I also keep some of those air-activated hand warmers, a blanket, and a really old granola bar in case I get REALLY stuck at some point.
